OH...MY...GOD, PPL!


GUESS WHAT...? i sold TWO $4980 chairs...AGAIN today! i am currently the TOP salesman in the roadshow at the moment.


a 17 yrs old part-timer with no experience sellin chair before but...TOP the chart? WAHAHAHA.


there are a few who have not sold yet. so...i really feel happy and proud of myself! : D


i am grateful to my counter and roadshow supervisor! very very grateful to my counter's supervisor for imparting his sales knowledge to me. he doesnt have to teach me cos i am not under their group. if not for my roadshow's supervisor for giving me consistent schedule, i dun think i will have the chance to go taiwan liao. haha!


my first customer today is a SUPER BIG SHOT. VERY VERY BIG SHOT LOR! she tried around 5mins.. but dun lyk it.. tried to explain to her but ask me dun talk so much.. tell her abt da instalment plan and she wan to buy cos it is the "latest".. den she went to have lunch with her friends.. call me up saving that i took her credit card.


TIO SHOCK K! i thought jialat liao.. big case ah! went up to the resturant and find her. luckily, she found her card! den hor, she help me advertise the chair to her friends.


one shows interest and i manage to clinch the deal! i am really very very happy!


S.A.T.I.S.F.A.C.T.I.O.N! this might be the last 2 months i am able to commit to SALES job so must kope as much of sales knowledge as i can from the seniors. i will change my focus and concentration to studies when school commences. jia you ba, irene... :)

lemme share 2 pieces of good news..


1) i am posted to temasek poly, hospitality and tourism management course!

my first choice! kinda expected it but a piece of news to be joyful about lah, right? :)


2) I SOLD MY FIRST CHAIR (WITH EFFORT) TODAY!!! WOOOHOOOO!

OMG. this is even more exciting than knowing jae posting result k! i sold a $1999 lousy chair before but it was just plainly sales talking rubbish.


i sold the newly launched chair today!!! Weeeeee....~ $4980! it is the most expensive item i sell in my life so far. i did put in effort to sell. i am really really really happy about it. Yeah!~


EFFORT ok! burned midnight oil to come out with my own step-by-step demostration. i am so glad that i manage to sell. YEAH!!~~ by right, part-timers are not allowed to sell chairs but it is my mgr's idea cos there isnt enuff female staffs and i am so called the "old chili". i have been in the company for ten months and i am happy to be given this opportunity. ten months leh! ppl full-timer maybe 1st or 2nd month can sell liao... but me ten months? abit slow lah but i am still happy about it!!


den hor with the newly equipped selling knowledge, i can up sell small items to bigger items. i treasure the last 2 months being able to commit to work. i wanna learn as much as possible!!!

I Am Starting To Feel Stressed...

my demostration sux. yes, it sux big time! letting customers to lead me, i am NOT doing sales but providing service. i am a salesman. yes, SALESman. NOT SERVICEman. i feel shamed to say that i have been in SALESline for TEN months yet i still cant capture the essence of SALESmanSHIP.


this reminds me of what a supervisor told me before..
"irene, you are not suitable to be in sales line."


me? not suitable to be in sales line? what he had said is partially true.. i knw that i am not a smart person and i have no talents at all BUT i believe in one thing and that is Perseverance.


each and every little thing i do, i know i need to put in extra effort and time than others. i will continue striving for the best with my never dying perseverance. i will try, try, try...change my tactics along the way...until i can suceed it one day!

i have finally been to pulau ubin. LOL! nothing much actually.. it was high tide so we didnt get to see the beauty of chek jawa. HAIZ. i will definitely be back there again to see it but check it beforehand! oh yup, i saw shu jun!!!! so concidental!


personally, i feel that cycling in pulau ubin is SHIOK. becos of the bumpy road, crazy slopes.. LOL!! gt feel one lor! high ah!

@ xinbeitou station.. we decided to have our hotspring at yang ming shan instead of beitou.. just take a bus outside xinbeitou station to yang ming shan. the bus ride is C.R.A.Z.Y and it is scary.

there were many many stairs..


roadside stalls selling fruits. the mangoes were VERY FRESH and delicious. nicest mango i ever had in my life. too bad i cant take it back to sg.. sigh..


both of us agree that the mangoes were nice!!!!

yeah! finally we found the hotspring resort and it is CHEAP. NT$200 per hour each which is less than $10. a friendly couple give us coupons so we only spent NT$150 each for hotspring. i thought it gonna cost more than NT$1000 each from what i search on da net. haha.. might be the fact that the resort is located at yang ming shan. SUPER ULU PLACE to have hotspring! hotspring-ing is very relaxing!!


we didnt manage to cover yang ming shan in detail due to time constrait. NO CHERRY BLOOM LOR! uncle lied to us :(

after that, we headed to DANSHUI. many local specialities to ta bao back home.


this is ah-gei. a famous MUST-TRY xiaochi when u are at danshui..

the whole place was so deserted! cos of the very bad weather i think. anyway.. yu ren ma tou is a good place for dating. hmmmm.. i think the bridge behind is lover's bridge?


after walking for so loooong, we finally found a seafood resturant. friend is choosing the food while i wait. =p den this funny part..

me: can stir-fry it with chilli sauce? any bun to go along with it?

ooops! this is sg style and they do not offer it in the menu. in the end, we settle for taiwan style..

our mess.. haha! i dun really enjoy the food cos the way they cook it is VERY different from sg way. not used to it. but i feel that it was kinda dangerous to dine there cos there were nobody in sight on da street. the next table uncles were so ah beng!


this is one of the aunties in da restuarant. the whole restuarant give me a very homely feeling. the workers will just to our table and chit chat. oh yup, the total bill came up to abt SGD$100 becos of the huuuuuge crabs. crazy!!!

we took bus back to danshui.. ended our day 4 early..


i am kinda missing taiwan now. i just feel that i didnt manage to enjoy till the max. feel lyk slapping myself for not buying enuff local specialties back. SIGH!!! feel so bad for those who asked me for presents. no presents at all leh :((( nextt time next time i will!! kinda saddening that the clothes in display are ALL WINTER WEAR. den hor, stupid friend cannot wake up early. haiz.. didnt manage to cover some places in detail..


VERY DULAN NOW la also. my sg sweep ticket is 2851685 but it came out 2851682. WAH LAU. if i tio, i would get $1000 leh!!!! anyway, i dint buy lah. it was enclosed in da ang bao given by my company..

lol.. but i am used to it le lah. sometimes i dun understand why there are ppl who enjoy bringin ppl down. i have also seen cases that idiots stepping down on ppl to make themselves look better. like hello...? what is the point la?!


after da meeting, i went PRAWNING..again! : DDD MY FAV! this time round, we went to bishan park. highly recommend this place! we chose the deeper pond. need more skill leh! :p


oh man.. oh man.. i am addicted to prawning now! but it is kinda EX. $30 for 3 hrs!

it is amazing to see how the company has grown throughout the years. i saw my boss finally in real person. LOL.





it was really hilarious when the blacks came up da stage and dance YMCA which i personally felt that it was the highlight of the night. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! ooopps..! =x somehow.. they reminded me of the days i spent working at MUS. oh gosh.. just imagine all da blacks in MUS dancing YMCA. fcking funny pls!





got to reach the HQ @ 10am for product training. i dun understand what my roadshow supervisor is thinking, stationing me in a roadshow selling just chairs. ME? PART-TIMER? selling chairs? NEVER before in history leh.

Prawning + Fishing Day! : D


went to paris ris to fish with sup after work. it was a sudden idea.. but it was FUN!


u knw... i love prawning! rather than doing the usual stuffs like shopping, watching movies and so on, i prefer doing something different.. this is me.

i am exhausted and yes, VERY EXHAUSTED. it is disheartening to see some of my colleagues leaving the job. i wonder when will it be my turn to tio aim sia.. only the fittest will survive. this is how the game works..


feeling kinda emo now.. might be due to the fact that i hav been listening to my fav supervisor pouring out his sorrows for da whole day. i dunno how to advise cos the problems he is facing is SO PERSONAL la. i dare not give any comments.. so what i can do is just listen.


have been listening to so much sorrows from my colleagues these few months.. HAIZ. everyone seems to have soooooo many problems! and i am getting fake and selfish.. feigning ignorance in order to protect myself.. the only thing that is motivating me to continue moving on is future..


and yup, guess what? i am asked to go HQ for product training for da newly launched chair. i think i am the only part-timer going. HAHAHAHAHAAA... dunno how the rest are going to feel but heck lah, just do my part. i will be stationed at a roadshow selling purely da newly launched chair for my next assignment. so cool k! gotta burn this weekend to brush up my product knowledge and get ready for the challenge.
